More Info On Ricky McCormick Cipher
Ricky McCormick was found murdered in a St. Charles Missouri field in 1999. On his person were two documents, written by hand in some sort of code.
The code has never been deciphered.
In 2011 the FBI released images of the documents and asked the public for help in cracking the code, in the hope that some clue to the case would be found.
So far, the code remains locked and Ricky McCormick's murder remains unsolved.
Can you break the code?
The two notes are written in an unknown code consisting of "a jumble of letters and numbers occasionally set off with parentheses" and are believed by the FBI to possibly lead to those responsible for the killing.
On this wikipedia page, you will find the ciphers themselves.
The FBI has also set up a page with images of the notes, and a form you can use to send any helpful information.
